“Every sound influences the body and mind. Most particularly… if the mind is open!” Delia Derbyshire

Donne Elettroniche is a musical research and DJ set on experimental electronic music made by women, from the 60’s of the XXth Century to the present day. It is a musical journey that aims to celebrate women musical audacity and vision, from pioneers to nowadays innovators.
The Dj set included remixed music by British explorers such as Delia Derbyshire and Daphne Oram, to Italian almost unknown electronic musicians and composers such as Teresa Rampazzi, Maria Teresa Luciani, to Argentinian musician Hilda Dianda, to Christina Kubisch, Carla Scaletti, Alice Shields, Maryanne Amacher, Pauline Oliveros, Eliane Radigue and many others. After more than one year of research among books and almost unobtainable records, “Donne Elettroniche” project premiered in Cagliari with Ticonzero and in collaboration with the electronic music department of Cagliari conservatory “P.G. Da Palestrina”.
