Coranto was the vocal ensemble founded in 2013 by Alice Norma Lombardi and Vittoria Giacobazzi, specialized in early vocal and instrumental music. The ensemble produced many performances all around Italy, with collaborations that included Galleria Civica di Modena and Museo Internazionale e Biblioteca della Musica di Bologna. Coranto specialized in a vast repertoire including unedited music by Tommaso Traetta, and Orlando di Lasso, John Dowland, Orazio Vecchi, Antonio Tonelli, Claudio Monteverdi among others. Deeply engaged in music education, Coranto organized workshops and seminars on early music in collaboration with Liceo Musicale Sigonio of Modena.

Together with Museo Internazionale e Biblioteca della Musica di Bologna, in 2014 Coranto produced the mise en scène of madrigal “Il Ballo delle Ingrate” of Claudio Monteverdi.
